Arizona High School Basketball - Horizon can't hold off Chaparral

The Chaparral Firebirds basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Horizon Huskies to 65 in the Firebirds league victory on Friday.

The Firebirds now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Chaparral will battle a Rams team coming off a 73-33 league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 3-10.

The Huskies (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record.
