Montana High School Basketball - Chester-Joplin-Inverness trounces North Star

The Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks (Chester, MT) basketball crushed the visiting North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT), 58-35 in Friday's league test.
The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT). The Thunder Birds go into the C District 9 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Hays-Lodge Pole was trounced by Turner (Turner, MT), 78-33, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Big Sandy for a C District 9 contest on Saturday, January 7. North Star will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 79-72 league loss to Box Elder (Box Elder, MT). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-1.
