The Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), 50-33 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Grand Saline went down by Commerce (Commerce, TX), 48-45, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Prairiland for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, January 10. Chisum will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 57-31 league win over Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 17-2.
