Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS), 59-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Southeast Lauderdale upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers host Union (Union, MS) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Clarkdale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 50-46 non-league loss to Scott Central (Forest, MS).
