The Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks to 33 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry Academy for a SCISA AA Region II contest on Tuesday, January 10. Thomas Heyward Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 81-67 non-league win over Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-6.
The War Hawks (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Holly Hill Academy ran past Mead Hall Episcopal School (Aiken, SC), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
