Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) and the visiting Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), saw New Hampton's basketball squad overcome Crestwood by a tally of 64-52.

With the victory, New Hampton improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Chickasaws host Kee (Lansing, IA) to confront the Kee Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Kee Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Cadets confront the Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) in a Northeast Iowa challenge, on Friday, January 13. Crestwood will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
