The Crowley Gent basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Pine Prairie Panthers to 39 in the Gent non-league triumph on Friday.
The Gent now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westgate for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Crowley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.
The Panthers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, East Beauregard was routed by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 56-53, in a non-league contest.
