The Dukes now possess a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fuqua for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Cumberland will confront a Falcons team coming off a 48-34 league win over Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-8.

The Statesmen (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, William Campbell was nudged by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 65-62, in a league battle.
