Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI), 60-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Redbirds host Highland (Highland, WI) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Highland won 63-61 in their recent league bout against Benton (Benton, WI)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Cassville Comets (Cassville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Iowa-Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 68-36 non-league win over Weston (Cazenovia, WI).
