Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), 81-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Vallejo upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Red Hawks host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a Tri-County - Rock bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Pinole Valley lost 77-75 in their recent league bout against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA)

Next up, the Dons clash with the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock bout, on Tuesday, January 10. De Anza will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 62-38 league win over Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
