In Friday's league outing, the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), by a count of 80-45.

The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers go into the Peninsula outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Hampton was crushed by Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 58-45, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodside for a Peninsula outing on Tuesday, January 10. Denbigh will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 79-65 league win over Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-3.
