In Friday's league outing, the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Nueces Canyon Panthers (Barksdale, TX), by a margin of 69-10.
The Cowboys (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Crushers go into the 1A Region IV District 31 outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Knippa was trounced by Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX), 75-42, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Utopia for a 1A Region IV District 31 outing on Tuesday, January 10.
