North Carolina High School Basketball - Draughn crushes Rosman

January 6, 2023: Valdese, NC 28690

Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 77-32 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Draughn improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a 1A/2A Conference 42 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.

Next up, the Tigers play the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 42 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Rosman will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 68-37 league loss to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).
