The Duchesne Eagles (Duchesne, UT) basketball nipped the host North Sevier Wolves (Salina, UT), 46-39 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Altamont was tipped by Manila (Manila, UT), 49-42, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Millard for a 2A Region 16 test on Wednesday, January 11. North Sevier will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 41-38 non-league win over North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
