The East Thunderbirds basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Natrona County Mustangs to 54 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. East will battle a Bears team coming off a 61-44 non-league loss to Central (Cheyenne, WY). The Bears record now stands at 5-3.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton (Riverton, WY). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Riverton prevailed over Wheatland (Wheatland, WY), 50-34, in a non-league contest.
