The Sexton Big Reds basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Eaton Rapids Greyhounds to 46 in the Big Reds league triumph on Friday.
The Big Reds now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everett for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Sexton will battle a Vikings team coming off a 77-42 non-league loss to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
The Greyhounds (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI). The Gladiators enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Fowlerville was defeated by Haslett (Haslett, MI), 56-43, in a league contest.
