The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Edgerton Flying Dutchmen to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson-Boyd for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, January 7. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Blackjacks team coming off a 71-40 league win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 5-2.
The Flying Dutchmen (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers enter the A Section 3 contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Lakeview triumphed over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
