The St. Edward Green Wave basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Elmwood Park Tigers to 35 in the Green Wave league triumph on Friday.

The Green Wave now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgewood for a Metro Suburban contest on Tuesday, January 10. St. Edward will battle a Rebels team coming off a 56-46 league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 10-6.

The Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Sentinels enter the Metro Suburban contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Westmont was defeated by Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL), 76-47, in a league contest.
