The Manheim Central Barons basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Ephrata Mountaineers to 37 in the Barons league victory on Friday.
The Barons now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Solanco for a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Manheim Central will battle a Golden Mules team coming off a 44-39 league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA). The Golden Mules record now stands at 5-6.
The Mountaineers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA). The Buckskins come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Conestoga Valley was defeated by Warwick (Lititz, PA), 62-41, in a league contest.
