Texas High School Basketball - Venus knocked off by Ferris

January 6, 2023: Ferris, TX 75125

The Ferris Yellowjackets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Venus Bulldogs to 38 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsboro for a 4A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Ferris will battle a Eagles team coming off a 35-31 league loss to Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-9.

The Bulldogs (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region II District 10 contest with a 14-9 record.
