Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 76-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Fluvanna County upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Flying Flucos host Orange County (Orange, VA) to clash with the Fighting Hornets in a Jefferson bout on Monday, January 9. The Fighting Hornets go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Orange County won 69-51 in their recent league bout against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Goochland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 71-39 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
