In Friday's league outing, the Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN), by a margin of 61-39.

The Yellowjackets (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Huntland (Huntland, TN). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Huntland smashed Cornersville (Cornersville, TN), 70-46, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Rockets confront the Murfreesboro Lacrosse (Murfreesboro, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Forrest will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
