Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME), 74-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Fairfield upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Beavers clash with the Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME) in a D North bout, on Saturday, January 7. Washburn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 92-31 league loss to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME).
