Mississippi High School Basketball - Wilkinson County ripped by Franklin County

The Franklin County Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Wilkinson County Wildcats to 35 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wesson for a 3A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Franklin County will battle a Cobras team coming off a 48-40 non-league loss to Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS). The Cobras record now stands at 2-3.
The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Blue Waves enter the 3A Region 7 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Port Gibson triumphed over Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 77-49, in a league contest.
