Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE), 60-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Freeman upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Falcons host Tri County (DeWitt, NE) to play the Trojans in a C2 District 1 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Tri County won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Johnson County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 54-37 league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE).
