In Friday's league outing, the Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), by a count of 54-49.
The Buffaloes (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Leopards go into the 4A Region III District 22 outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, La Grange held off Austin Achieve (Austin, TX), 68-53, in a league outing.
The Ducks now hold a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Caldwell for a 4A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, January 10. Taylor will meet a Hornets team coming off a 45-41 league loss to Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 10-15.
