With the victory, Hopi improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Valley (Sanders, AZ) to play the Pirates in a 2A North challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Valley lost 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Newcomb (Newcomb, NM)

Next up, the Fightin' Knights play the Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ) in a 2A North challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Greyhills Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 61-54 league win over Valley (Sanders, AZ).
