Michigan High School Basketball - Seaholm knocked off by Groves

The Groves Falcons basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Seaholm Maples to 25 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Groves will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 71-57 non-league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-5.

The Maples (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Avondale was defeated by Troy (Troy, MI), 70-69, in a non-league contest.
