Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lisbon Panthers (Lisbon, NH), 61-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Groveton upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Franklin (Franklin, NH) to play the Tornadoes in a Division IV bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Panthers play the Pittsburg Panthers (Pittsburg, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 88-52 league loss to Littleton (Littleton, NH).
