The Hamden Green Dragons basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Guilford Grizzlies to 57 in the Green Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Green Dragons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Branford for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Hamden will battle a Hornets team coming off a 84-43 non-league loss to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 2-5.
The Grizzlies (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Fairfield Prep nudged Branford (Branford, CT), 84-43, in a non-league contest.
