Tennessee High School Basketball - Melrose can't hold off Hamilton

The Hamilton Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Melrose Golden Wildcats to 57 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeway for a 3A District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Hamilton will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Roadrunners record now stands at 5-8.
The Golden Wildcats (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Booker T. Washington (Memphis, TN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record.
