Hoosic Valley Indians (Schaghticoke, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stillwater Warriors (Stillwater, NY), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoosic Valley upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the Greenwich Witches (Greenwich, NY) in a Section 2 Wasaren - A bout, on Monday, January 9. Stillwater will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Witches go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 73-70 league win over Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY).
