Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 58-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-4.
Next up, the Roughriders clash with the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
