The Thomas Dale Knights basketball team (Chester, VA), was overwhelmed 68-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA)
The Blue Devils now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dinwiddie for a Central battle on Tuesday, January 10. Hopewell will battle a Generals team coming off a 75-54 league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Generals record now stands at 6-4.
The Knights (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs come into the Central battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Meadowbrook trounced Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 66-55, in a league battle.
