The Howards Grove Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs to 62 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Holstein for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Howards Grove will battle a Huskies team coming off a 81-60 league loss to Valders (Valders, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-9.

The Zephyrs (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Reedsville (Reedsville, WI). The Panthers enter the Big East - North contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Reedsville ran past Sheboygan County Christian (Sheboygan, WI), 56-40, in a non-league contest.
