The Troy-Buchanan Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Howell Central Spartans to 34 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clopton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Troy-Buchanan will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-56 non-league loss to Elsberry (Elsberry, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.

The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO). The Jaguars come into the Gateway - South contest with a 3-2 record.
