Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS) and the visiting Scott Beavers (Scott City, KS), saw Hugoton's basketball squad wallop Scott by a tally of 80-46.

With the victory, Hugoton improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hooker (Hooker, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Beavers confront the Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS) in a Great Western challenge, on Friday, January 13. Scott will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
