The Hutchinson-Central Tech Engineers (Buffalo, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Middle Early College Kats (Buffalo, NY), 73-59 in Friday's league test.

The Engineers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Lewis J. Bennett (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers go into the Section 6 Buffalo I test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Lewis J. Bennett notched a victory over East (Buffalo, NY), 71-64, in a league test.

The Kats now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East for a Section 6 Buffalo I contest on Thursday, January 12.
