Kansas High School Basketball - Hutchinson fells Maize South

Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS), 64-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hutchinson upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Salthawks travel to Maize (Maize, KS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Maize lost 83-52 in their recent non-league bout against Andover Central (Andover, KS)

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Maize South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS).
