The Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds to 39 in the Warhawks league triumph on Friday.
The Warhawks now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosholt for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Weyauwega-Fremont will meet a Hornets team coming off a 73-19 league loss to Port Edwards (Port Edwards, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-9.
The Thunderbirds (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Bears enter the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Bonduel triumphed over Goodman-Pembine (Goodman, WI), 76-37, in a non-league contest.
