Jackson Heights Cobras (Holton, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McLouth Bulldogs (McLouth, KS), 47-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson Heights upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cobras travel to Atchison County (Effingham, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Atchison County won 61-44 in their recent non-league bout against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Horton Chargers (Horton, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. McLouth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
