Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS), 53-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nemaha Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Thunder host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] lost 68-42 in their recent non-league bout against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Jefferson West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
