The Jennings Bulldogs basketball team (Jennings, LA), was nudged 56-53 in Friday's league battle with the host South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA)

The Knights now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kinder for a 3A District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 10. South Beauregard will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 33-31 non-league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.

The Bulldogs (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Golden Tors come into the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Sulphur edged Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA), 53-47, in a non-league battle.
