The J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Manheim Township Blue Streaks to 48 in the Red Tornado league victory on Friday.

The Red Tornado now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central York for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. J.P. McCaskey will battle a Panthers team coming off a 100-61 league win over South Western (Hanover, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.

The Blue Streaks (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Falcons come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Cedar Crest was nudged by Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
