The Sheffield Wolverines basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Kane Wolves to 49 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk County Catholic for a Allegheny Mountain - Northern contest on Monday, January 9. Sheffield will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 48-33 league win over DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-1.
The Wolves (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bradford (Bradford, PA). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record.
