Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) and the visiting Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), saw Kaneland's basketball squad knock off Sycamore by a count of 72-52.

With the victory, Kaneland upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Stillman Valley won 66-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Marengo (Marengo, IL)

Next up, the Spartans play the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a Interstate Eight challenge, on Friday, January 13. Sycamore will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
