The King William Cavaliers crushed the visiting West Point Pointers basketball squad by a margin of 76-28 in Friday's league test.
The Cavaliers (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Panthers go into the Tidewater test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Charles City was trounced by Middlesex (Saluda, VA), 71-59, in a league test.
The Pointers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Middlesex for a Tidewater test on Tuesday, January 10. West Point will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 52-42 non-league win over Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 9-2.
