The Lockhart Lions basketball team (Lockhart, TX), was overwhelmed 67-23 in Friday's league battle with the host Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX)
The Panthers now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hays for a 5A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Liberty Hill will confront a Hawks team coming off a 57-42 league loss to Rouse (Leander, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 12-12.
The Lions (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Lehman (Kyle, TX). The Lobos come into the 5A Region IV District 25 battle with a 3-20 record. In their last battle, Lehman was overwhelmed by Leander (Leander, TX), 75-23, in a league battle.
