The Smithton Tigers basketball team (Smithton, MO), was overwhelmed 56-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lincoln Cardinals (Lincoln, MO)
The Cardinals now possess a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Monte for a Kaysinger battle on Tuesday, January 10. Lincoln will battle a Vikings team coming off a 47-29 non-league loss to Kingsville (Kingsville, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 1-9.
The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Green Ridge (Green Ridge, MO). The Tigers come into the Kaysinger battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Green Ridge trounced Holden (Holden, MO), 50-47, in a non-league battle.
