Connecticut High School Basketball - Litchfield can't hold off Wamogo Regional

The Wamogo Regional Warriors basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Litchfield Cowboys to 59 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepaug Valley for a Berkshire contest on Tuesday, January 10. Wamogo Regional will battle a Spartans team coming off a 74-27 league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.

The Cowboys (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the Berkshire contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Gilbert was nudged by Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 54-29, in a league contest.
